Ritchie Precision is a specialised precision engineering business located in Scotland. Started in 1975, it is situated in Livingston, just off the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh.  Ritchie is key supplier of small parts to several global market leading companies.

The company has a highly experienced work force with the belief of training in house for our specialised production of precision parts. Especially key is the on-going employment of local young people as apprentices, some of whom have now gone on to fill senior positions within the company.

Customer led demand has seen Ritchie Precision increasing both plant and staff, and the opening of a second factory in Livingston in 2020.  New investment in the most up-to-date manufacturing CNC machines, equipped with robotic palletisation, has provided a near doubling of capacity and assured quick turnaround of prototypes and production parts. Due to the nature of the work carried out at the Hutton facility both the manufacturing and QC areas are temperature controlled to ±1 °C.

A new high spec. facility, for packing and cleaning, has also recently been opened in Livingston. It provides a temperature controlled, HEPA filtered clean environment maintaining particle counts at the ISO Class 3 standard.

Markets include: Laser, medical, photonics, oil & gas, ultra-sonic, opto-electronic, and scientific instrumentation.

Ritchie Precision is the trading name of Spring Engineering Services Ltd.
