Ritchie Precision uses a customer focused approach to business and quality and it is our aim to provide a service that exceeds customer requirements.
These goals are achieved by establishing measurable objectives which are communicated throughout the organisation. These objectives are continually monitored to ensure they are meeting the strategic direction of the business.
Ritchie Precision is committed to the continuous improvement of their Quality Management System and therefore has an established, documented, and well maintained system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
This Policy is supported by the dedication of the organisation and all our employees, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work and the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
We have recently installed the Sylvac Scans F60LT in our QC department, which is specially designed to take measurements of cylindrical parts. Because of the challenging dimensions and sizes involved when working with circular objects, precision and accuracy can sometimes be compromised. Now with the new Sylvac F60LT, measuring cylindrical objects is no longer a problem. This device is intended to measure diameters anywhere from 0.2mm to 64mm and lengths of up to 500mm. There are no scans that compete. Aerospace shafts, CNC turned parts, automotive components, connectors, metal packaging, hydraulic parts, turbine parts, and rollers are just some of the objects that can be precisely measured using Sylvac scans. An added bonus is that these devices can be used to analise thread types of all sorts and different thread features.
Hexagon Global S CMM machines have been installed in the new purpose built QC rooms at the Hutton Square facility.
Training
Ritchie’s philosophy is train and equip their young employees to produce quality product on quality machinery.
Machinery investment is in the best machine tools, with a focus on a common control – Siemens.
People investment is in youth, through a focus on a strong apprentice program which allows skills to develop, and through trust by giving control.
