Covid-19 update

Here at Ritchie Precision we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak and are proactively managing any potential impact on our ability to supply products, while maintaining a safe work environment for our employees.

As we meet the criteria as a key supplier to several businesses classed by the government as essential, our manufacturing facilities remain in full operation, and we are able to maintain required production levels and service to our customers.

Over recent weeks, and the implementation of Lockdown 2 in Scotland, this commitment has assumed even greater relevance. All of our facilities have instigated additional personal protection measures, intensified hygiene, and social distancing protocols that meet local guidelines. Employees who are able have been working from home for some time. Factory operations have been managed safely and intensively to maximise business continuity and to support our customers.

Following are examples of some of the precautions that we are taking:

  • Employee training related to COVID-19 and government guidelines

  • Increased cleaning and sanitisation of high touch areas

  • Maintaining safe-distancing measures

  • Installed plexiglass barriers where required

  • Requiring use of face coverings (e.g., masks, shields, etc.), when unable to maintain safe distancing

  • Reinforcing proper and frequent hand-washing and use of hand sanitisers

  • Banning all non-essential work-related travel

  • Banning all non-essential outside visitors

As the situation with COVID-19 evolves, we will continue to monitor and adapt.
